A website account balance and an in-game alpha wallet can show different numbers without proving that a code failed. Start by identifying the currency and where the number appears. RSI currency definitions
Account UEC
RSI tracks UEC associated with the account separately from the temporary testing economy. The standard referral reward concerns account UEC. Do not present that balance as a guaranteed amount of spendable alpha credits at every login.
Package-included currency
UEC included with a pledge package is reserved differently from account UEC. RSI states that package UEC is not added to the alpha starting balance. Adding package and referral figures together does not establish an exact aUEC starting total.
The alpha wallet
Missions and current in-game purchases use aUEC. If no existing balance carries over, RSI adds account UEC outside a Game Package to the base starting amount for the patch. Referral credits can contribute through that rule. Package-included UEC is excluded, and a code added after registration may take longer to affect the alpha balance.
A practical discrepancy note
Record the currency label, the screen and the build before comparing values. Check the account’s referral association and the official currency guidance. Do not use a second purchase or repeated logins as a supposed method for farming signup credits.
