Before linking a starter purchase to your RSI account

A starter package is an access purchase. This account-focused checklist helps prevent assigning it to the wrong login or expecting it to reopen a referral window.
Choose the account first
Sign in to the account you intend to use in the launcher. If it is new and unlinked, settle the referral entry while it is eligible. If it is older, the purchase does not change its creation time.
Verify access in the listing
Read the product contents for Star Citizen access. A ship-only pledge with a familiar starter hull can lack the licence. Squadron 42 is a separate entitlement and should not be inferred from a ship name.
Check the order afterwards
Look for the completed package in My Hangar on the same account. Preserve the official order record. A payment still processing or an account mix-up should be investigated through RSI, not by registering again.
Keep referral and access evidence distinct
The field tells you which referral was selected. The order tells you what was bought. The in-game wallet tells you the current alpha balance. None of those alone proves all the other steps.
