Privacy Policy

This site is static HTML. The only third-party tracking present is the Google Ads conversion tag, used to measure whether ad campaigns work. No newsletter, no contact form, no login. Details below.

What this site itself collects: nothing. No first-party cookies, no first-party analytics, no contact form, no login. The site does load the Google Ads tag (see below) — that's the only third-party script.

What this site does

It shows a Star Citizen referral code (STAR-JTV7-FXLR) and explains how to use it. That's it. The "Enlist Now" button links to Roberts Space Industries' official signup page — once you click it, you've left this site and RSI's privacy policy applies.

Advertising and conversion tracking

This site loads Google's gtag.js (Google Ads conversion tag, ID AW-999315178). It is used to measure whether visitors arriving from Google search ads complete the goal of clicking through to the RSI signup page. Google receives the standard data the tag transmits: IP address, browser type, page URL, referrer, and a Google advertising cookie if you have one set in your browser.

To opt out of Google ad personalization, visit adssettings.google.com. To block the tag entirely, use any standard tracker blocker (uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, Brave's built-in shields, etc.) — the rest of the site works fine without it.

Cookies

This site sets no first-party cookies. The Google Ads tag described above may set Google's own advertising and measurement cookies (_gcl_au, NID, etc.) when it loads. These come from googletagmanager.com and google.com, not from this domain.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect basic, anonymized traffic data (IP, browser type, request volume) for the purpose of operating their CDN. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Open Graph image preview

When you share a link to this site on Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc., that platform fetches the OG preview image from our server. The fetch comes from the platform's servers, not from you personally.

Your rights (GDPR / EU)

The only personal-data processor on this site is Google Ads (see above). To exercise GDPR rights — access, correction, deletion — for that data, contact Google directly: Google's privacy policy. For Cloudflare's edge logs, contact Cloudflare. This site itself stores no user records to access, correct, or delete.

Changes to this policy

This policy was updated to disclose the Google Ads conversion tag. If additional third-party scripts, analytics, contact forms, or data-collecting features are added later, this policy will be updated again.
