Maintained by Domux. Editorial approach and referral disclosure
Several RSI screens accept strings called codes. A failure often means the code belongs to a different screen, rather than that the account needs another purchase.
Is a referral code required to play?
No. The referral field is optional; you do not need an invitation to buy a game package. Use a code when creating your account to receive the standard referral reward. It belongs in registration or the eligible account-summary entry, not the checkout coupon field.
Promotion or product redemption
An event access instruction, a purchased product key or a hardware promotion can have its own audience and redemption route. Follow the issuing organisation’s instructions. Do not put an unrelated redemption string into the referral field.
Subscriber checkout benefit
An account-earned subscriber coupon is a purchase benefit with restrictions. Registration does not activate it, and publishing someone else’s string does not transfer eligibility. Its validity belongs to the checkout and subscriber terms. RSI subscriber coupon terms
A useful error record
Write down which screen rejected the entry and its exact error. A screenshot of the field, with personal information concealed, helps distinguish format problems from account eligibility. The code type and destination matter more than trying many strings.
