How I ended up running a referral page

I started Star Citizen back in 2016 — alpha 2.x days, when the universe was a single moon and most ships didn't exist yet. Stuck around for the long haul. Watched the game grow, watched the persistent universe roll out, watched RSI bump the referral bonus from 5,000 UEC to 50,000 UEC in July 2025.

The reason this site exists is simple: every time a free fly event runs, new players show up in our org Discord asking the same question — "I just bought a Mustang, how do I get the referral bonus?" — and the answer is always the same painful one. You can't, the 24-hour window expired.

Most "Star Citizen referral code" sites out there are either auto-generated coupon spam or single-page placeholders that haven't been updated in years. I figured if I was going to share my code anyway, I might as well build a page that actually answers the questions people ask.

About the code itself

The code is STAR-JTV7-FXLR. I get one Recruitment Point on the official RSI ladder when you use it and buy a Game Package worth $40 or more. You get the full 50,000 UEC bonus. The math is symmetric — we both get something, neither of us pays extra.

If you'd rather use a different code (a friend's, a content creator's, anyone's), do that — the important thing is that some code is in the field at signup so the 50,000 UEC actually lands in your account. RSI's program is the same regardless of whose code you use.

I'm not affiliated with Cloud Imperium Games or Roberts Space Industries. This is a fan-built site. The data on it (game prices, package contents, referral ladder tiers, free fly schedule) comes from RSI's own pages and Star Citizen Wiki — both linked throughout. I update the page when RSI changes things, but if you spot something stale or wrong, hit me up on Spectrum or Reddit above.
